Dallas Cowboys – VS Tennessee Titans

Over the past three weeks, the Titans haven’t scored more than 19 points, have given up 15 sacks, and had four turnovers. Hot Take: The Titans have a terrible offense. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have emerged as a solid real-life defensive team and are in a great spot to feast on a poor Titans offense on MNF at home. Easily one of the best streamers this week, plug-and-play the Cowboys where available.

Carolina Panthers – VS Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Panthers would be a smash play if Jameis Winston was going to be the starting quarterback for the Bucs this week, but instead the Bucs have decided to give the keys back to Ryan Fitzpatrick. While not quite the turnover machine Winston has been this season, Fitzpatrick is still prone to poor decision making. Not as safe as they were earlier in the week, the Panthers are still a solid D/ST play this week.

Kansas City Chiefs - @ Cleveland Browns

The Chiefs defense is no elite unit by any means, but they have had solid fantasy outing in each of their blowout wins this season. While the Chiefs might not outright stomp the Browns this week, the Browns have allowed the most sacks in the league this season and have a rookie quarterback prone to turning the ball over, giving the Chiefs D/ST a higher floor in this matchup than in other weeks. Overall, the Chiefs shake out as a nice floor play with some upside.

Detroit Lions - @ Minnesota Vikings

Coming off a game in which the Vikings allowed the Saints D/ST to come away with double-digit points, the Lions should have some hope of salvaging a serviceable D/ST performance this week as well. While the Vikings do have a talented offense, their offensive line is still struggling which plays right into the hands of an underrated Lions pass rush that is backed by a talented secondary. The Lions should give up some points, but they should also be able to rack up some sacks and a turnover or two as well. Not the highest floor this week, but they have some upside if you are looking for it.

“You Might Want To Look Away” (D/STs Owned in <10% 10-Team Yahoo Leagues)

Oakland Raiders - @ San Francisco 49ers

The Raiders are easily a last resort option this week. However, if you absolutely must, the 49ers are averaging over two turnovers and allowing almost four sacks per game while allowing the third most fantasy points to D/STs this season. While that all sounds good, the Raiders have forced multiple turnovers only three times this season and are the only NFL team that has less than ten sacks on the year. I really hope you can do better, but in a battle of two bad teams maybe the Raiders D/ST can show they are the "better" team for at least this week.
