2019 NFL Draft - Day One Fantasy Football Recap

The first round of the 2019 fantasy football draft has come and gone. And to be honest, while it was fun inherently, it wasn't nearly as exciting as football twitter had built it up to seem it would be in the weeks prior. There were no early trades, nothing too crazy in the top of the draft, but nonetheless we had 3 QBs, 2 WRs, a running back and 2 TEs off the board, all looking to make their way into your 2019 fantasy lineups. Let's get this #bread.

Kyler Murray - QB, Arizona Cardinals - 1.01 (QB1)

3,150.5 (-110) - Passing Yards

  • DraftKings: 19.5 – Over -110, Under -110
  • PointsBet: 20.5 – Over -110, Under -110

Daniel Jones - QB, New York Giants - 1.06 (QB2)

Good god.

T.J. Hockenson - TE, Detroit Lions - 1.08 (TE1)

the 4th TE to be selected in the top-10 of the since the year 2000. The others? Kellen Winslow 1.06 (‘04) Vernon Davis 1.06 (‘06) Eric Ebron 1.10 (‘14)

• Lions: 2nd-fewest receptions & receiving yards by tight ends in 2018

Dwayne Haskins - QB, Washington Redskins - 1.15 (QB3)

Noah Fant - TE, Denver Broncos - 1.20 (TE2)

Denver traded down with the Steelers from No. 10 to here at 20, picking up the 52nd pick in the draft and a 2020 third-rounder

Josh Jacobs - RB, Oakland Raiders - 1.24 (RB1)

Marquise Hollywood Brown - WR, Baltimore Ravens - 1.25 (WR1)

More DeSean Jackson than Tyreek Hill. Didn't do much special teams-wise for OU.

N'Keal Harry - WR, New England Patriots - 1.32 (WR2)
