This year for Valentine's Day were skipping the flowers and chocolates.
Our Valentine this year is none other than the potential comeback player of the year Josh Jackson.
Jackson was drafted 4th overall in 2017 in between Tatum and Fox and came into the league with potential and hype through the roof. After a couple of disappointing seasons he found himself on the Grizzlies G league team for the majority of the season in 2020.
Josh came back to his hometown Pistons this year and we have seen a different player in the slower paced Detroit system. Jackson has finally put together the skills, court vision and IQ that we saw in Kansas in 2016. Since the Derrick Rose trade he has scored double digit points in every game, including two 20+ point games. Defensively he has been a problem for teams, averaging nearly 1 steal and 1 block per game. His confidence with the ball in his hands has shown us all that this stud can truly be a key contributor to the Pistons starting roster and a candidate for comeback player of the year if he can continue this type of play all season.
His Prizm has taken a dip since the season started, but we are seeing a price increase recently which makes this the best time to invest.
