As we are 10 days away from the first pitch of opening day, there are no more buying opportunities of any MLB players.
The buying window that we saw closing last month has finally caught up and closed as we predicted correctly...
...ok, except for one more player.
This week we are going to NY to capitalize on an absolute slugger that is favored to lead the league this year in dingers. Not Judge, not Stanton, not even a Yankee (sorry Snacks)
After a rookie season of 53 home runs to lead the league, Alonso hit that sophomore slump and hit it hard. With Citi Field stadium opening up to limited capacity, this should help Alonso as he is naturally a player who feeds off the excitement of the fans. Through 12 preseason the Polar Bear has 11 RBI's and 3 home runs that have yet to land. He looks more comfortable at bat and with an improved lineup including Francisco Lindor, we see him getting enough at bats to break 45 home runs and 120 RBI's and taking home the home run crown for a second time in his first three seasons, especially due to Trout most likely taking some time to rest throughout the season.
This week we are buying up any 2019 Topps Update Pete Alonso rookie cards as they are disrespectfully underpriced.
